Tristan Davies is a Melbourne based artist whose paintings begin with familiar images such as the sky, the tide and a vase of flowers, subtly reworking them into pared-back compositions where figuration and abstraction sit side by side. He graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Art (Drawing and Printmaking) in 2016 and has since exhibited in several group exhibitions. He also held a solo exhibition with Laila gallery in 2022.
