Sam Steinhauer

Sam Steinhauer’s painting practice centres upon a desire to make (non)sense of a personal archive. Constructing scenes drawn from his own photographs, Sam's work explores personal memory, the interplay of art and the everyday, art history, and humour. He holds a first class honours degree in Art History from the University of Melbourne (2016).
