Julia Stewart's paintings explore her connection to place. Celebrating colour, line and shape, her work is often inspired by particular objects, domestic spaces and the landscape. Through observing her immediate surroundings, she has developed a visual language that abstracts ordinary scenes. 

Julia completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at VCA in 2016, and has exhibited at c3 Contemporary, Art House, Bus Projects, Rubicon, Blindside, George Patton Gallery and The Design Files Gallery.
