Shannon says:
'This sculpture was found outside a chain of bridal shops. I found it interesting to frame the photograph with a ‘male gaze’ focussing only on the male sculpture's body as opposed to its facial expression in the same way we see this occurring for female subjects in art galleries and pornographic magazines alike. This intentional reversing of the gaze is especially ironic and comical in the context of the sculpture being exhibited at the entrance to a wedding shop.'
