MONUMENTS BY LUCY ANDERSON

During a recent trip to France, Lucy was engrossed in a series of short stories by David Sedaris. Inspired by his keen observations of people and places, she began tuning into conversations happening around her as she explored various monuments. These overheard snippets of dialogue became intertwined with her memories of the holiday, inspiring a new body of work which explores the mystery of human connection. 

MONUMENTS invites us to ponder the fleeting yet profound impact these momentary glimpses into each-others' inner-lives can provide, and how they contribute to the rich tapestry of our own perceptions and memories.
